I made this cake for my friend a little while ago. I used to make cakes for birthdays and parties. Untill I got sick and I decided that the smartest, best and shittiest choice was to quit making them. I didn't have enough energy to take care of myself, my son, our home, doing fun stuff AND bake cakes for others. At first it was really hard for me to see other people bake and grow, but now I'm really glad I chose me and the little man. Up untill this day I'm occasionally asked if I can bake a cake hahaha. Maybe if someone ordered just twelve cupcakes I would do it from time to time. Now I'm making cards... ☺. •

I get asked this often, "what's your 1 word advice for dealing with panic and anxiety attacks?" I'm not a medical professional and I'm giving my personal advice on what's helped for me. As most of you know or may not know, I've dealt with anxiety for over 30 years and panic attacks for over 24 years. My one word advice would be....destration. Our mind is an amazing thing and truely impacts our overall health and wellbeing. When you are having an attack your mind is racing, you can feel out of control, your heart starts pounding, you feel lightheaded, nervous, scared, sweaty, shakey, have trouble breathing, feel like you're going to die, feeling that something bad is going to happen. Those are just some of the things I experienced. Something that I found helpful and can be hard when you're dealing with an attack, destract yourself. Listen to music, journal, count, say positive affirmations, look at a picture, count, scribble, find a relaxing app., go for a walk...call someone. Find whatever what works for you. If one thing isn't working, try something else. Get your mind to focus on something else which is key to kind of snap you out of the attack, verses getting yourself more worked up and feeding into it. Hopefully that makes sense... Oh and breathe! When I was having an attack I would hold my breath, and get myself all tense. I found apps that helped me with learning how to breath and focus on my breathing during an attack . I never thought I'd say this but, I haven't had a panic attack in years! My anxiety has decreased wayyyyy down, I don't remember the last time I had a bad anxiety attack as well. Thankfully I found an Vitalbiome that has been my "miracle in a bottle" and has truely helped me with those. It's taken me many years of practice, soul searching, learning and educating myself on how to deal with attacks, focus on my triggers, and learn out to relax, along with positive affirmations! You got this! For those of you that suffer from these things, what are some things that have helped you during an attack? I can't wait to see your answers.

Once upon a time this gorgeous confident woman was a sweet little bundle of nerves. It’s really hard to believe when I see the sunshine that now exudes from @becsmith_ Throughout her school years I blended perfumes for her combining calming neroli, bright citrus, balancing geranium, the confidence and exuberance of woods and ylang ylang. Yesterday my friend @oilcoalition shared in her stories about some happy mail she had received from our friend @wynneelder. Included in the package was a card saying that she believed in her. It got me thinking about the power of telling the people in our life that we believe in them. So often in life, especially when we’re forging our own path, we encounter doubt—our own doubt and doubt from those who may not understand the path we’re choosing. From my experience, people have no problem sharing their doubt. But belief? How often do we express to others that we believe in them? We may think it, but do we say it? What if instead of expressing doubt we always expressed belief? What if instead we said, “I may not understand the path you’re choosing, but no matter what I believe in you.” Think of how much more peace would exist in the world if that was how everyone approached things. Going forward, I’m going to make an effort to tell people I believe in them.

Not going to lie I've tried to end my life a few times, not only do I suffer with mental illness, I suffer from chronic migraines, if you've never had a migraine let me tell you they are unbearable it literally feels like there's a bomb in your head and it's hitting every. single. nerve , you vomit , you try to sleep but the sound of you breathing makes you vomit, smells make you vomit, I've had these since I was 5yrs old.

Certain medical problems are linked to lasting, significant mood disturbances.
