Yeap, were definitely trying to lean out but that doesn’t mean we throw away strength training for a crap ton of cardio. No no no. Training, sets, reps, weight, rest, and intensity stays the SAME. . . The only thing that changes is calories and adding some bit of cardio (because we want to burn extra calories). In order to lose body fat you need to be on a CALORIC DEFICIT! This is just SCIENCE. There’s no certain food that will “melt belly fat”. You’re NOT going to get lean in a week. There Is A Reason You Get Frustrated On Your Diet. Hey, you, listen up. I know what happens. You start a diet, you start seeing results, you have tons of motivation. Then something happens along the way where you go off track, you don’t follow through, you have to start a new diet, and this happens over and over and over. I get it, it is frustrating… But it is only frustrating because you are letting it be. The reason you keep having to start , stop, restart, not follow through.. Is because you are taking the easy way out. You are choosing extra 30 minutes of sleep rather than getting up for your workout. You are choosing not to be an adult and plan your day out with your food because it’s “too much work” . You are choosing to not prep your food and eat whatever the hell life throws at you. There are REASONS why this is happening. The easy way, is obviously easier, but also less time consuming. Easier to convince yourself of. Not easy to convince yourself to take an extra 30 minuets prepping food.. But promise you, it will be what leads you to results. When you decide to stop choosing the easy way out, is when you will finally see consistency and results. Time to make the change. -E. . . . . .

ZUCCHINI & FETA PANCAKES @pellofitness Serves: 2 Prep: 5 mins Cook: 10 mins Nutrition per serving: 300 kcal 21g Fats 14g Carbs 14g Protein GF LC MP V Q WHAT YOU NEED • 1 medium zucchini • 100g (3 1⁄2 oz.) feta cheese, crumbled • 4 tbsp. (30g) buckwheat flour • 1 egg • 2 tbsp. parsley, chopped • 1 clove garlic, minced • chilli flakes, to taste • 1 tbsp. coconut oil WHAT YOU NEED TO DO Grate the zucchini (using the side with large holes), and place in a bowl. Add a tablespoon of salt and mix. Let it stand for about 30 mins, then squeeze all the juice/water out of the zucchini. Put it back into the bowl, add crumbled feta, flour, egg, chopped parsley, garlic and chilli flakes. Season with pepper and salt as desired (note that the zucchini will already be salty). Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Fry the pancakes for about 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Use around 1 large tbsp of batter per pancake. So many excuses, so little time. . 🔹I'm too busy. 🔹I don't have the time. 🔹I have a lot going on right now. 🔹I can't add anything else to my plate at the moment. You know what? NO ONE has the time. Her wellness is a priority for her and she acts accordingly. She does what is necessary to achieve her goals. 💥 CHANGE THE ENDING 💥 . You can't go back and change what has happened in your life or to you. . Perhaps you sustained an injury, perhaps you gained weight and ended up with stretch marks. Perhaps you had a baby and now you have pelvic organ prolpase. . You may wish you had known more about healthy eating and weight control. . You may wish you'd known that constant sitting could present lower back issues. . You may wish you had returned to exercise differently after having a baby to prevent worsening pelvic organ prolpase. . You may wish you had moved your body everyday for general health. . I wish I could go back and change all of the above. . What I am learning however, is that the obstacle is the way. . I'm learning that to have a fit and healthy future, I need to see my failures or challenges as lessons. . I'm learning that I can't move forward unless I embrace who I am right now. . Time educates you through knowledge and experience. Every single day you learn. What I know now, to what I knew 20 years ago, is astounding. . I know I can't change the past but those experiences make me who I am today. My experience is important because it allows me to relate to and help other women. . I'm excited to continue educating myself and passing on my knowledge and experience. .

It’s crazy how in one day of parenting you will feel tired, flustered, happy, anxious, overflowing with love and overwhelmed. Day after day. Baby won’t sleep. Cries for everything. . I think of life before being a mommy and I would get worked up for the little things. Things at work would make me anxious. The freedom to do anything, everyday without needing to worry about bringing every baby item out the door with us. . It may seem like I’m living in the past but I’m just giving the realization about how selfless we are as parents. We adore these littles and do anything for them. It actually is a beautiful point in life where we aren’t centre of our world anymore. . In the heat of certain moments I’ll admittedly think back to the way things were before Bryce came into the picture, but I would never dwell on those moments because my life now has purpose and every decision I make will only include him and Russ.

Morning Kitchen Exercise ideas! ⠀ Save and try tomorrow! ⠀ Many of you guys messaged me that you don’t have access and time for the gym. Mornings are tight with cooking and taking care of family. ⠀ So here are some ideas for your morning in the kitchen. Do these functional exercises every day, and you will see huge difference in 2-3 weeks of consistent exercise. ⠀ You can do these in your jammies too. My video is “staged” because I prefer to exercise in proper gym attire. But if you don’t have it, or if your family does not allow it, it should not stop you from getting in good shape!!🤗 ⠀ 1️⃣ Warm- up: 100 jumps. If you have “bouncing problem” with chest and tummy, hold these areas like I do in the video. ⠀ 2️⃣ Push ups: count how many you can do now. Every day increase by 1-2. You will quickly increase your capability. Keep counting or write it in your journal, to break your own record every day. ⠀ 3️⃣ Lounges: strive to make 25 from each leg. ⠀ 4️⃣ Side bends- wonderful to stretch your rib cage and helpful for narrower waist. 30 each side. ⠀ 5️⃣ Boxing moves: try 100 hits. Imagine something or someone you are angry at, and release your emotions 🤗 ⠀ 6️⃣ Toe reach: 30 to each leg. Can do more if you are enjoying it. ⠀ 7️⃣ Static half sit position. Try to hold for 2 min, good if you bring it to 3-4 min. Fantastic for the legs and core. ⠀ These are just minimal basics, I tried to select those which don’t require you to sit on the floor, or look too funny for your family. These are all fine and appropriate. So no excuses ladies, let’s start tomorrow morning! ⠀ Comment please who is going to try it? ⭐️what can you stretch?⭐️ I’m stretching my legs.... being literal . Ok so yeah I’m stretching trying to get my grove back after injury..... stupid body won’t do what I want . I get so impatient with injuries I just want them to do what I want but I know I have to take it slow .... I also know that one area can have an effect in other areas of the body at the same time ..... my hip and hamstring are as a result of my opposite ankle weird right . But your body compensates for the other side ..... so this relates to life right if one area is out of balance others will be affected . Trying to get the balance is hard work ...... my focus is to find balance with what I’ve got before I add to the scale ...... working on my ankle stability to work on my leg flexibility....... working on my current situation to add to it when I’m balanced .

Minus är minus. 👍🏻 Jag har inte haft strikt kost men hittills hunnit med fyra pass i gymmet denna vecka. Eventuellt att jag kör något hemma senare i dag, men jag får se hur kroppen mår. Det har varit lite dålig sömn de senaste nätterna med barn som vaknar upp ett par gånger. 🙈 . Men nästa vecka blir det tydligt fokus både på träning och på kost. Your posture starts from your feet 🦶🦶 If you come to my pilates classes you will hear me say ‘the tripod foot position’ 🦶(or maybe your concentrating 😉) When you maintain this equal loading while moving the rest of your body you will feel like you are anchored to the floor 🦶 So it’s Sunday evening and your prepping for the upcoming week...I’m looking through my diary working out where I can fit in some ‘rest and restore time’ & ‘coffee catch up time’ all work and no play definitely makes me a little disconnected 😔

If you don’t take the time to recover, you may never get back up!! I have to remind myself of this from time to time. In fact I’ll probably take a nap today sometime, maybe Alex and I will take turns 🤣 But there is NO replacement for what sleep does for your mind! You can’t get the full scrub of fatigue away any differently than laying down and closing your eyes for a while! So even when I feel like there’s too much to do... Sometimes we’ve gotta acknowledge ourselves and let some relaxation in!! And with that in mind... Time to stretch!!
