Happy hump day everyone! Here’s some upper body work from this morning- I really focused on chest and triceps because I’m pretty happy with the size of my shoulders at the moment ☺️I did 30 minutes of interval cardio after my workout and I’ve gotta say- my ankle has been feeling really stiff and weird every time I run 😕Any runners have tips/stretches I can try? ANYWAYS here’s the workout: •Bench press (I’m really working on bringing the barbell to my chest rather than my neck. I had an elbow injury as a kid that makes this a little bit difficult but hey we’re improving 🙂) •Dumbbell Arnold press •Dumbbell chest press •Standing dumbbell tricep extensions •Dumbbell frontal raises w/inward rotation (not pictured because the lady at the gym told me not to film 🙄)

I had an epiphany last night... I’ve been on this roller coaster of emotion from gaining weight after my car accident last April. No one on a health journey wants to see weight come back, but that’s what happened. I wasn’t weighing myself like I used to but I knew based on how my clothes were fitting that I had gained weight. It had me seriously so upset... But then last night I had a thought. I LOVED myself for getting to that weight when I lost it... Why wouldn’t I STILL love myself when I’m back at that weight? This is a HUGE breakthrough for me because I’m all about Self Love. And it reminded me that a number doesn’t define me. AND that it’s a journey... And even Self Love Coaches are constantly growing and improving. I’m allowed to be a masterpiece and a work in progress, simultaneously. So. Are. YOU! 🖤✨

100KG deadlift for @ailsajaney today 🙌 —— Today she came in and we decided to go for a 1 rep max deadlift. Wouldn’t usually do this but both fancied it, and she made it to the 100kg club 🔥🙌 - I’ve been working with Ailsa for quite a while now and we just get a session in when it suits us, eg when I’m free and she’s off work. - Throughout this time she has gone from strength to strength, starting without having much knowledge of how to train, right up to now SMASHING her lifts and loving her weights 💪 - SIDE NOTE *important*: she hasn’t been on any crazy calorie deficits. Most of the time she has spent on maintenance (amount of calories needed to stay around the same weight). Because of this she has CONSISTENTLY got stronger and built muscle, allowing her to have a better figure due to increased muscle in areas she wanted to focus on 🍑 - To me, this should be the focus for more people. Diet down when you need to, but generally, focussing on building muscle and getting stronger over time will give you more changes than you think 👀🙌 -

I never post selfies here but there is a first time for everything! My mind and body are too tired to do anything, but that’s okay. I worked hard for 21 weeks, without having time for myself (maybe 3-4 hours in a week). Tomorrow will be my last day of internship and I’ll have 1 whole week for myself where I can sleep a lot and do the things I missed so much. I’m honestly so excited to start watching Korean drama’s, reading books, studying Japanese and Korean and FINALLY start writing in my Japan journal. So yes, I let myself be tired today and watch some series instead of going to the gym. I deserve it.

Let your past excite you for your future.. one thing I love about throw backs is the fact I know it’s impossible not to have improved.. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here’s my thoughts on it as I’ve been there recently to & have had to remind my self that I can’t not have progressed & I need to stop adding unnecessary pressure to my self & doubting my self (as we all do) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ SO When in offseason or entering the cutting phase or in general really, it can be difficult to see & even remember what you’ve already built & the progress you’ve made underneath the layers of healthy body fat you’ve gained.. which you’ve now actually added to ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀SO, if you’ve been eating more, training hard, your feeling stronger with numbers in your log book increasing & you’ve gained some bodyfat, you’ve been in a surplus.... you’ve achieved all the goals of the other side of this sport.. & well that’s the best way to grow muscle & make improvements.. your going to come back better ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Remember it doesn’t matter what you look like now so don’t be hard on your self, keep following your coaches plan, keep working hard, try not to over think things, keep grafting towards that special day you step on stage.. enjoy the process, focus on the positives instead of picking on your self, I guarantee you will look back & will have progressed more than you thought you could.. keep pushing ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @officialcnp CNPKERRY30 @gluteywear KERRYGW

I am so excited for the next 90 days to come and go. Recently I invested in myself and gave myself a little much needed TLC and got cool sculpting done on my lower stomach. . This is a part of my body I have struggled with throughout my entire weight-loss journey and I finally decided to take the next step in reducing my fat pockets left over from weight loss. . Cool sculpting is not an alternative to losing weight and you still have to maintain diet and exercise in order for it to work. The process involved freezing stubborn fat pockets and killing off the fat cells in the targeted areas to help shape and tone parts of the body that are otherwise hard to hit with standard diet and exercise. It’s very non evasive and aside from some soreness I was moving around just fine at my workout the day after. I am about a week out from the appointment and look forward to the changes my body will hopefully undergo over the next 3-4 months. Thick thighs save lives 😉 . . There can be several reasons why you arent seeing progress in your training . . 1) You are not eating enough protein .. if you dont give your body what it needs to repair your muscle tissue, it will stay the same flat muscle until you do 🙏 you wouldn't hire a builder and expect them to build with no bricks 🤣 exactly the same applies to your body . . 2) You are not giving yourself enough rest time .. only when we rest can our body repair itself, if you train the same muscle every single day all your doing is breaking it down into nothing .. 2 rest days per week minimum whilst alternating your training to target different muscle groups is an ideal training programme 👌 . . 3) Your form is incorrect .. without isolating the muscle correctly you won't see the results your looking for .. training in partners or with a trainer and having that second pair of eyes is always helpful .. your body will naturally find ways to cheat .. so dont let it 😜 . . 4) Genetics .. the human body is a weird & wonderful thing and unfortunately we all have genetic defects 🙌 meaning that certain muscle groups will need a lot more work for longer periods of time to grow .. keep grinding and the results will follow 👌 . . LEG DAY - Actually filmed myself and I dunno I feel like a dick but ANYWAY my leg day went like this - raised RDL’s 4x 10 - squats, loads of them - hip thrusts, 4x 10 with 10 second hold at the top (squeeze ya bum!!) - single leg press 2x 12 each leg - sumo leg press 3x 10 - dumbbell step ups into courtesy lunges, 4x 10 each leg - hip abductor 2x 15 Andddd 10 minutes incline treadmill walk - Give this a save for your next leg day 🥰🥰🥰🥰 - Also feel free to let me know if my form is poor, I’m no expert but I’m trying to improve everyday 🙃 - Last video is 70kg just added that for me lol -

I’m that person that will lose their balance walking down a straight path because I have terrible equilibrium. I once tried to do a handstand against the wall and fell over because my body could not tell which way was up 😂. To help with this issue I have been doing some work using this balance board. I love this thing and I don’t know why I’ve never used it before. You really have to use your entire body to keep centered. The key is keeping your core tight and not locking your legs at the top. I like to do different variations like overhead squats and even dl on this. Eventually I want to be able to use the board that looks like a little surfboard with the ball underneath... one day! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

🤨That form... Questionable🤨👏🏻 . . . . Did a lot of legs today but at a slow pace as I was showing a friend around the gym while he had a free pass 😊 only took him a year to come down and train! Haha he enjoyed it though (love hate enjoy nearly threw up so took time out😂) So we did squats body weighted and weighted 4 sets Lunges body weight and weighted 3 sets Double lunge body and weighted 3 sets Did the cable workout seen in the video 3 sets of 10 Jump squats 3 sets Jump squat burpee 3 sets Leg press 3 sets upping weights shoulder width, sumo stance and together 10 reps each time Abs 😊👏🏻 All this while I'm still having a slight pain in my right leg silly me but I don't want to lose it completely 😌 I think or at least hoping that's why my form is shocking on one leg in particular 😂 . . .
