I get SO in my head when I squat. As soon as the bar hits my back my confidence sinks 😤😤⁣ ⁣ I’m working on it, ok. ⁣ ⁣ Squatting beltless I think is really going to help my mental state. I don’t think I’ve squatted more than 225 without a belt. So when I hit 235 for 5 I felt REALLY good about that. ⁣ I’ve been wanting to hit 300lb in competition for at least a year, I think my time is coming soon. ⁣ ⁣ Also just look at those hammies 🖤⁣ ⁣ ⁣

Do your knees ever cave in during your squats 😬 . While it may seem "normal" or "fine" since even the knees of many elite athletes cave in during their squats, this is actually not the natural or safe range of motion for our knees. 🙈 Even if you're not experiencing pain right now, over a prolonged period of time squatting like that, your knees will eventually hurt somehow. 🙅🏻‍♀️ Even the smallest wobble of the knee shifts a ton of load in the wrong direction. 😥 . If you find your knees wobbling a lot, try implementing some knee stability exercises into your warmup routine. 🙌 Let me know if you'd be interested in more options to work with, but here's one to start with: The RNT lunge! 🔥Attach a light band knee height. With the leg away from the pole, slip into the band. Step back with your opposite foot into the bottom of the lunge. Go slowly! And as you do so, focus on minimizing knee wobble. The band is going to pull your knee in so you have to fight against it to keep it tracking over your toes! 😁 . As with many other movement corrections, a little can go a long way. Do a set or two every day before you squat and you may find those knees aching less in no time. 🎉 I hope this is helpful! Let's make "achy knees" no longer the norm! . . .

Well, 264.6x3 today for another PR. Ended up doing 2x3 because the first set wasn’t up to my standards. @danielfelixlibre said I couldn’t fail if I did a redo and I couldn’t let him down so of course I kept my word. Having a coach that believes in you and stands there talking you through your set to remind you that you CAN do that shit is beyond what I could have ever asked for. Thanks Daniel, for dealing with me day in and day out. 2021 competition season is gonna be lit. And yeah, I definitely said I was going to pee myself if you listen and hear it, you heard right lol.

My fitness journey 💪🏼 Been going to the gym for 7 years now and I can tell you: my body changed a lot. Not always in a good way but I must say I’m happy with the way I look now! I’ve been in some dark place some years ago due to the fact that I couldn’t accept myself and my body. I always wanted to be my thinnest and prettiest self but I realized that that was at the cost of my happiness. I didn’t see food as something good but my worst enemy. I created a eating disorder just by trying to ‘diet’ by eating healthy all the time and not giving myself any cheats. By doing that I craved sweets and chocolate even more and before I knew I was binge eating every night and I hated myself every morning. I wanted to tell you guys my story so you can see the story behind the pics. I’m very confident in my pics but behind them I was a mess. Now I finally let go of the ideal to be the fittest/thinnest girl and I just eat whatever I want and I stop when I’m full. I really love that I can have control over what I eat now and that I don’t have any guilt anymore! It took me 5 years to get over this eating disorder but I’m finally got the feeling that I’m getting better and that I conquer it 😊
