Don’t slack on your overhead triceps movements. — Ever since I strategical planned my exercise selections, I have seen huge growth in my triceps . ⠀ When you work your triceps, you might forget there are three parts to the muscle: the lateral head, the medial head, and the long head. 2019(left) 2009(right) 10 years of hard work, dedication and determination! Had the mindset back in the day to be a big strong linebacker but I never liked carrying all of that weight. No it didn’t take me 10 years to cut it.. honestly, it took me 4 months to go from 253 to 196. I don’t recommend that for anyone ever! It’s not good to lose too much too quickly. Before you even set a fitness goal come to the understanding that your commitment is going to be the factor. (You can apply that same logic for most things in life) If you’re in a rush chances are you’re trying to meet a deadline that’s going to put you through misery (dieting, cardio on low energy, etc.) or you are just looking for a quick fix. I rushed myself and lost a lot of weight quickly but I lost a large amount of power and strength in my weight lifting. It’s taken me a few years to gain back what I had lost. Though I finally caught back up, Im telling you, make fitness a lifestyle and go. Learn and try new things. Be determined and be DISCIPLINED. That has more substance to it than anything else you could do. I’ve done it and glory to God I’ve achieved even better fitness goals than I originally planned for! You can to!
