🔁AND...REPEAT🔁 . . Whenever I do a tapping session on myself I make sure to end it on a positive note 📝 . . Last night I could not fall asleep because I was awoken by the panic monster 👹 . . It was a truly terrifying experience. So I prayed to the universe, to show me what this panic was trying to tell me. When I felt like it wasn’t going away I started tapping through my meridian points 👉🏻 . . Whenever I tap, I try to ask my body why this fear and terror has come up. I layed in my bed in the dark, terrified of dying. That’s what panic attacks are like. They make you feel so out of control of your body that you literally feel like you’re going to die. IT’S NOT FUN 😿 . . As soon as I started to come back to reality after tapping vigorously through my acupressure points, I finally started to feel a little better. But there was still some fear there, so I started the end of my session with this Mantra🧘🏻‍♀️ . . “Even though I feel all this terror and panic, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. I am safe in my own body, I am safe in my surroundings. I am breathing, and I am ALIVE.” ✨ . . To be honest I was afraid to turn my light off after fearing the dark. I was afraid to fall back asleep after fearing that I would die in my slumber 😴 . . After saying this mantra over and over and OVER again, I began to feel at peace. I began to feel as though I trusted myself enough to go back to sleep. It wasn’t easy. NONE of this easy. But words are powerful 🙌🏻 . . You don’t have to suffer in silence. Talk to your body, ask it why? Your mind and your body are connected. Don’t neglect yourself out of fear that your panic won’t subside, it will. You just have to speak to the panic, it wants to be heard. Hear it, accept it, give it permission to leave, and release it👽 . . This mantra has always helped me, I hope that it might help you as well if you find yourself in panic mode ⚡️ . . . . . . . .

People who have been through traumatic situations are not responsible for causing themselves trauma. It’s not their fault. End the stigma so people can heal without shame from the outside world. Hello Warriors! I have had a doozy of a month! Is it weird that whatever darkness FL tied to my back was snapped when I moved to GA? I honestly feel that I broke whatever bad/negative energy was tethered to my body. I no longer have this need to think about panicking or wondering why I’m not panicking in certain situations, I literally am taking everything as it comes. Quite literally whatever is meant to be/happen is going to happen whether I have a fit or not so i might as well just deal. I’m not sure if that’s defeatist of me but I’m choosing to see this change inside of me as the best thing to happen to me in awhile. I can breathe again.

this might surprise you. ⤵️ . i’ll be working MORE as a recover from surgery. and also this: I’m so ridiculously excited about it. 🤸🏻‍♀️ . isn’t that so funny? you would think - I would even think - that recovery from surgery would include just hanging out in bed, watching netflix and chilling. . but real talk, friends. i’ll still be doing all those things as i’m doing my work. . because my work is just me and my phone. posting. connecting. sharing. inspiring. motivating. rinse and repeat. . for the past few weeks, i’ve been spending 3 hours a day working in my business, but my intention is that starting on wednesday (surgery is monday) i’ll be working 5 hours a day. I might be achy. I might be on pain meds. I might sleep 12 hours a night. but i’ll get those 5 hours in. because so long as i have my mind and two working thumbs, i’m good to go. . I share this with you because - every day, every circumstance, every everything - it all gives you a chance to make a decision. will you choose the excuse or the solution? will you find reasons to justify why you can’t do it or will you look for the good, for the positive, for the possibilities and solutions regardless and just make it happen. the choice is always yours and the one that is shaping your life every single day. . sure I could be all cranky about this surgery, but why would I do that? how nuts would that be?? do you know many gifts this surgery is bringing me? how many opportunities and possibilities? countless. the same goes for you regardless of what the “surgery” in your life might be right now. . moral of the story: choose the solution. it changes everything. .

Somedays I can literally feel like a light has been turned on inside me, warming me and making me feel lighter. Today is not one of those days 13.5hrs trying to sleep and still cannot get out of bed. Another wasted day. At least I can try and manage what I eat with healthy and yummy Plant kitchen ready meals. I can feel my heart getting closer to a heart attack. Like someone is squeezing it. Dreamt a huge truck was slowly lowered on me and I could not escape. The other day I was on a 250foot cliff hanging on for dear life. I may be housebound and bed bound by depression, but don’t think that I am not facing stress and battles within my mind that take over my body.

My earliest memory of a panic attack was back in late 2012. I was in the car driving when I suddenly couldn’t breathe. I was crying, screaming. I pulled over. • I had panic attacks before that, and have had countless of them since. I’ve had them when teaching (yes, in the middle of class), before meetings, when there was laundry on the floor... needless to say, they’ve been triggered by almost anything. • I still get PAs. I had one yesterday. I had one a few weeks ago. I find that I go the longest without PAs when I am doing my best to take care of my mental health. • But how do we manage when we have important stuff going on, especially at work? With looming deadlines and milestones? • Note: my first recommendation if you are experiencing PAs is to see your doctor. None of the below advice is replacement for therapy or medication! The below advice is more to compliment your current medication/therapy routine. • 1. Maintain a self-care schedule, even if it’s modified. Treating yourself to little things - fun workouts, nights in with friends, a good bottle of wine... whatever little self-care things will help you. • 2. Check in with someone. Especially a therapist or counselor if you have one. But also a trusted friend who can walk you through your anxiety and help you rationalize. Maybe even your advisor. • 3. Ask for help. It’s likely you’re feeling anxious about your big work thing, so don’t hesitate to reach out for help where you might need it. • 4. Give yourself some grace. If a PA does come, find a quiet spot where you can let it run its course. Breathe deeply through it. You are not wrong for experiencing these emotions. If you feel comfortable, let someone know you’re going through a PA so they can check in on you. • 5. My panic attacks often come when I’m feeling out of control. If this is the case with you, then find something you can control. Start with little tasks. Clean your room. Make your bed. Whatever little tasks help you feel in control. • I will be posting people’s strategies for PAs today in my story. I’ll also create a highlight section. Stay tuned. • What’s your experience with PAs? Yesterday as I was taking my post workout pic when I caught a glimpse of my arm and was damn proud of the definition I saw. My arms were my biggest insecurity growing up. I have always had big arms, they jiggled and wiggled and I spent most of my young life covering them. As I got older I began accepting them, but that didn’t mean I wasn’t self conscious. I remember last year someone dear to me saw their arms looking BIG in a picture and they said “it looks like I have a Kim arm!” And boy did that bring back those insecure feelings. I was already on my journey and had already made some progress, so I was confident enough to brush it off and move on. I was in charge of my happiness and I know I had the tools to continue working on me. So as I post this picture, you are gonna wish you had “Kim Arms” lmao Ps, they may still wiggle and jiggle, and that’s OK. . I am STRONG. I am CONFIDENT. I am CAPABLE. I am PROUD. . You should be too!! 🙌🏻

Something I’ve learned a great deal the past few months. In order to be there for others and have the focus on achieve your goals, you have to keep your mental and physical health at the best it can be. As someone who doesn’t talk much about their mental health, this is something that’s become a daily verbal reminder. As far as we know, nothing ever lasts forever. The universe is subject to the law of impermanence. No experience, no matter how bad, can last forever. Remind yourself of this often. "This too, shall pass." The best way to allow yourself to move on from the inevitability of a passing moment in time is to just accept it for what it is - a passing moment. Things seem to stick around just that little extra when we resist the moment. The point is, things aren't supposed to stick to us, they're supposed to pass by like clouds in the sky as that is the fleeting nature of this beautiful existence.

🎉 This is me & this is 32! 🎉 On this birthday I have an indescribable excitement & yet a feeling of calm & contentment. I have an intense appreciation for my amazingly loyal friends (aka my family & support system) an insane level of gratitude & have such a sense of accomplishment this year! This "accomplishment" isn't from a title, material or anything superficial. Instead I am beyond amazed, proud...& a little shocked that I actually made it to 32 & overcame many days that seemed impossible.🎉 . 31 broke me. I was completely shattered & not sure I could ever be whole again. It has been a long journey, but I have realized that in this adulting quest I completely lost who I was, what I valued & respected in others, & what made me feel alive & whole. At some point I began chasing someone else's dream & couldn't shake this nightmare of not being able to wake up & follow my own path again. My

I understand the pain. The time is difficult and your mind is just suggesting to take out some blood and harm yourself , but trust me this wont be good at all. Self harming and doing everything alone is worst. You really need someone to tell your problems or have a shoulder to cry on. Battling with your mind and harming myself is not possible for even the bravest man. Just go out get someone who u r attached and cry out loud in the lap. Trust me , the feeling after you cry and hug them is just unanswerable . PS : i am always here if you dont have somebody or need someone to share your problems with.

People don’t realise you can use hypnosis to recover from mental health issues. It’s an amazing therapy and NOT what you see on the TV.
