This neutron star was discovered outside of the Milky Way by astronomers using the data of the Chandra X-Ray by NASA. Neutron stars are the dense cores when a massive star merges and undergoes a supernove explosion. This neutron star is different from the other ones that were discovered. This neutron star has low magnetic field and no stellar comapanion so it is all alone. The remains of a supernova called 1E 0102.2-7219 created this neutron star, it is located 200,000 light years away from Earth. X-rays from Chandra alow astronomers to have a closer look at the neutron star and the supernova alone. By the way, an X-ray copy of an image is just color enhancing it, the colors are different from the actual photo taken from Chandra. Green representa the ocygen-rich remnants of the supernova. They are the remnants that contain the debris ejected from the dead star. In bright red are the gases of the supernova. It appears in a small ring of gas expanding slower than the blast waves. The blue and purple represent all the waves of different gases and the supernova in general. It is such a different kind of neutron star that the astronomers managed to find! Astronomers use x-rays to detect galaxies and make them better for us to see. These sources were a surprise, they were located away from the supper massive black holes which are found in the center of galaxies. Astronomers at first thought that these were ultraluminous X-rays, which are black holes containing the masses between about a hundred times of the sun. Some of them might be called the stellar mass black holes, containing up to a few times the mass of the sun. The article from NASA states that these are the beams of light of millions of light in this image. The Chandra x-ray observatory shows about how the ultraluminious whih glow with the x-ray light are equal in luminosity. The total output of all wavelengths of millions of suns. This picture is really cool because of the neutron stars. They are burning and shining brighter than the others and that is exactly what you see in the image. __________________ __________________

It has been witnessed for the first time a few months ago. The extraordinary sequence, in which the two ultra-dense stars spiralled inwards, violently collided and, in all likelihood, immediately collapsed into a black hole, was first picked up by the US-based Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (Ligo). As its twin detectors, in Louisiana and Washington state, picked up tremors in space-time that had spilled out from the merger 130m light years away, an alert went out to astronomers across the globe. This is extraordinary and this is the first post on my account that contains this content. I don’t usually post on Earth things like meteors seen from Earth. Nonetheless this is a meteor shower that happened in 2016 in West Virginia. It was just a 30 second exposure as meteor streaks crossed the sky in an anual meteor shower. The Perseids show up every year in August because Earth makes trails of debris. Meteors are rocks that becomes so hot it glows when it passes by Earth’s atmosphere. A meteor can be called a shooting star but if you’re talking professionally you would say “meteor”Usually or most of the time meteors are small so they burn out and deteriate, so it wouldn’t hurt us or come down as a meteorite. When meteors are big they can hit Earth because of the mass it wouldn’t deteriorate that fast. That is unlikely because we have such a great technology nowadays we shouldn’t worry. ______________ ______________
