This allows teams to sub in someone that might be stronger on certain events (a specialist of sorts) and also provides built in subs in case of injury. Let’s talk about fooood😍 and how I’m finally leaning out! 🤩 after switching my diet a couple times I finally found something that works for ME. What works for me may or may not work for you🤷🏽‍♀️ To find what works you have to be willing to be patient and try new things and not become discouraged and give up if you don’t see results in the first week or even a month in. Yes the process and progress of your physique is a slowwww thing but it’s definitely worth it😍 I’ve been eating 3-4 meals a day and still incorporating intermittent fasting. My eating window (the time I eat) is from 2 pm -7:30/8pm (not perfect sometimes I have a late dinner because i’ve been going to the gym late) I don’t care how many calories I eat in the day I just make sure to reach my protein, carbohydrates, and fat goals. Lately I’ve been feeling amazing both physically and mentally thanks to the leafy greens and colorful veggies I’ve added to my meals for volume to keep me full longer 😋 veggies are full of vitamins and minerals🥰 I eat lentils and sometimes black beans and other legumes to reach my carbohydrates goals instead of depending on whole wheat bread and brown rice because legumes are easier to digest and are recommended for people with a slower metabolism like me :) consider giving legumes a try into your diet if you’re feeling stuck/confused and/or not seeing progress💛 legumes are a PLANT and I believe the natural way is the BEST way to go🌱🌻🌞 • • • • •

I couldn’t be happier with the work that this group has put in over the past 8 weeks. Just about everyone in my powerlifting program hit squat PRs today. The only reason it wasn’t everyone was because a few people couldn’t make it in today. We did 2 rep maxes and everyone hit at least their previous 1RM from 8 weeks ago for a double. A couple of them went big like my man @big_ed_mo_757 who’s previous 1RM was 425, comes in today and smokes 463 for a double 👀💪. ABS home/ body weight workout 👏🏼 — You should do 30-60 secs per exercise and repeat each exercise 3-5 times for the ultimate ab burn 🙌🏼 — I usually add three abs exercises to the end of my workout rather than having a whole session dedicated to them. If I’m eating good then this is enough to see results. If your body fat is high then you are unlikely to see abs no matter how much you train them 💕

When class gets CANCELED, I go to @starbucks + @target, WEARING MY FAVE DRESS W/ POCKETS🙆🏻‍♀️🤗 . . My schedule has been madness recently + I’m having a tricky time working around it, giving myself enough time to recharge + recuperate. Finally, I gave myself time to take a nap yesterday afternoon...I woke up feeling like a new woman😇🙂 I know I’m constantly saying it but if you have a crazy life, even if you don’t, give yourself time to rest, give yourself time to heal, process what you need, to get back up + kicking all obstacles out of your way🥊 Stress is not something fun to sit in. Do things to lower stress like take a walk, listen to the birds, go on a drive, drink some tea, listen to your favorite song, dance around the house, sing at the top of your lungs, laugh at your favorite comedian, call your best friend, listen to a podcast, watch an inspirational video, organize, the list could go on + on but what matters is it must be something that fills you up, an activity that does not take away but makes you feel free + light☁️✨

Total body workout got me feeling pumped 💪🏻. Total workout was 3 sets for every exercise for 20 reps Legs: Leg Extensions. Hamstring Curls. Smith Machine standing Calve Raises. Leg Press. Lying Hamstring Curl. Seated Calve Raise. Back: Lat Pull Down. Seated Row. Shoulders: Barbell Shoulder Press. Dumbbell Side Lateral Raise. Chest: Flat Barbell Press. Cable Fly (using ladder technique starting at the bottom and working up to the top to hit all areas of the chest.) Biceps: Dumbbell Curl. Machine Preacher Curl. Triceps: Tricep Dips (Use own bodyweight for these) Rope Cable Pushdown Abs: Abdominal Weighted Crunches. Hanging Leg Raises. For all of these exercises make sure you chose a weight you can do 20 reps with. I’ve been doing this to finish off the week.
