TUESDAY’S TECHNIQUE: An oldie but a goodie! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As you’ve probably noticed I’m not one for machines, and there’s a reason for that. Albeit machines have their time and place, on a consistent basis however, there are far more beneficial and effective methods for building strength. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The glute kickback machine is the only machine I like to incorporate into my programs. When following the proper form, it’s a great way to focus on the glute activation. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If you’re a bodybuilder preparing for a show, makes sense. If you are rehabbing a muscle or joint from injury that’s directed by a physical therapist, makes sense. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Other than those two scenarios there’s no reason you should be using machines constistently and here’s why: ⁣⁣ 🔺By focusing on isolating one muscle group, machines can exasperate a pain or imbalance in another joint or muscle group because of improper use⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🔺Machines work through a set range of motion, therefore you do not control where or how the weight is moving. It’s a designated path.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🔺That being said, your mind is essentially turned off. You don’t have to think about how to move the weight because the machine has a paved path and you just push or pull.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🔺The machine stabilizes your body for you, whereas with other movements you are the master of where and how your body moves, forcing you to recruit more stabilizing muscles.

What impresses me more than the weight loss achievement is the courage to get started when you know that you have a sh*t load of work to do. Think about it, you may have 15-20 lbs to lose and you dread the few months work you have to put in. Imagine showing up for a workout knowing you have about 200lbs to shed. This year I have met many different people, all walks of life, and I am confirming things that I simply thought of in contemplation a few years ago in deep isolation. A yogi taught me that traveling in your physical body is an external search for something only found within. All of these great teachers travel to the monasteries, the temples, the decorated villages, and return to their apartment or house or whichever, and they all say the same thing, a simple irony. The body is •the• temple. The holy land is the •whole• realm. The present moment is always the true place to call home. Ever heard of the saying "Home is where the heart is?" Well, I feel as if when two truly aligned lovers know this in their hearts, they live a life where the ultimate reward or gift is the simple presence of their partner. Wedding rings, vacations, outer manifestations or rituals all feel like a substitution for authentic true love. Living life with inner harmony and self trust manifests a Devine union. That two beings who truly know themselves would never lie, cheat on, degrade, resent or intentionally hurt the other singularity being. Isn't it true to state that true love is absolute trust and absolute self love - a union of two of these beings in harmony? I have found the courage to love myself. I have what some call impossible visions to fulfill, however those I have met who love themselves always support my dreams, and tell me I now deserve a partner such as the one I described. There was a time where I still made room for devilish thoughts and emotions, but that is now over. Anyone who lives in peace, with purpose in light and justice and understanding of the whole dream of life deserves a Devine union. A real partner. To create a family of their own. I no longer fear being alone, because whatever union I find myself in, I will know it's real as long as I am real. It's all I ever need to know.

Meet Brittany. 28 year old mama to a 7 month old boy! Brittany followed 2B Mindset + Transform 20 and lost 7.8 lbs and 5.5 inches in 6 weeks! Brittany struggles with a past of all or nothing mindset, binge eating disorders and and tried every diet in the book before finding our programs in October 2015. Ascension food! Food for our light bodies 💜 food to raise the vibe , not lower it . Hello 👋 all 💜 today has been super busy, so I spent this evening making these vegan , gluten free , NO PALM OIL and sugar free Snicker Bites , I originally tried to make snicker bars but I got a bit mixed up with the ingredients so I had to improvise and this is what I ended up with and omg they are Amazing!! And taste just like snickers 😀 in a blender I made oat flour ( gluten free ) by blending oats , I put the mix in a separate dish , then I soaked dates for 10 min in hot water ( I used distilled) I added the drained dates to the blender, I then added 2 big tablespoons of peanut butter ( I used one that was palm oil free and organic ) I added two tablespoons of vanilla and some sea salt , blend up until it makes a caramel mixture , i then blended the mixture and the oats together , I added peanuts ( I used salted ) I moulded into shapes and covered in dark vegan choc , I put them in the freezer for a bit. ingredients = 2 mugs of oat flour ) to make the caramel you use 1 mug of dates - 2 tablespoons peanut butter - salt , 1 or 2 tablespoons of vanilla , you can add as many peanuts as you feel guided, They are really tasty 😋 and healthy , I stocked up with them for when I get that sweet craving , oh and thank you to my mum for the glass cake stand 💜 💜💜more recipes on my Facebook walktalk&breathelight

Low calorie stuffed peppers🙌🏻 my family and i only use ground turkey 93% lean. We only eat turkey or chicken only on occasion red meat but that is just because of health causes. Stuff the peppers with brown rice (not white!) and sautéed onions. Top with marinara sauce. What you’ll need 1. Bell peppers 2. Brown rice 3. Marinara (low calorie) 4. ГОТОВИМСЯ К НОВОМУ ГОДУ ВМЕСТЕ!!!🎄🎅🎁❄☃️ Можно ли представить себе новогоднее застолье без соленой рыбки? Конечно же, чтобы порадовать наших мальчиков, на стол мы всегда ставим тарелочку с селедочкой. Я предпочитаю солить скумбрию, она получается вкуснее, насыщенее и мясистее, чем селедка. И в магазине вы такую точно не найдете, а времени и усилий на ее засолку много не потребуется. Вы знали, , что за Полярным кругом рыбу солят снегом? Но мы не будем рисковать и пробовать, мы посолим скумбрию обычным рядовым способом! Купите 2 замороженных скумбрии и положите ее в холодильник на нижнюю полку размораживаться. Запомните- скумбрию легче разделывать и резать, пока она еще не полностью разморожена. Поэтому мы ее достанем и разделаем, пока она еще не разморозилась окончательно: отрезаем голову, плавники, хвост вынимаем и выбрасываем внутренности. Разрезаем рыбину пополам и срезаем с замороженной рыбы хребет. Срезаем брюшные косточки с тонким слоем мяса, срезаем спинной большой пловник. Формируем из рыбки две фелюшки без косточек и плавников. Шкуру пока не снимаем. И снова кладем филе в холодильник доразмораживаться. Пока сварим расол: 1 л воды 3 ст.л. соли крупной!!!! 1,5 ст. Л. Сахара Перец горошек, 2 гвоздички и 2 лавровых листа Расол закипятить, дать прокипеть 5 минут и оставить остывать до комнатной температуры. Когда расол остынет, заливаем им филе скумбрии в контейнере и оставляем на сутки. Через сутки достать филе из расола, выложить на бумажные полотенца и дать стечь. Пинцетом достать остатки косточек, если таковые остались. Снимать шкуру или нет, решать каждому самостоятельно. Но рыбку можно резать и блюдо готово! Ее можно выложить самостоятельно на тарелку с лучком; можно пустить на селедку под шубой- она будет вкуснее, поверьте; а можно сделать красивые канапе, как у меня! Малосольная скумбрия прекрасна! Не забудьте приготовить ее 30 декабря и поставить ее на ваш праздничный стол! 💋💋💋

ГОТОВИМСЯ К НОВОМУ ГОДУ ВМЕСТЕ! 🎄🎁🎉🎅❄☃️ Доброе утро, дорогие мои! Мы продолжаем с вами собирать рецепты в свои закладочки. Блюла на разный вкус и цвет! Как же здорово, что сейчас нет дефицита и полки магазинов ломятся от изобилия. Это позволяет нам попробовать много нового и интересного. И я вам постараюсь в этом помочь! Сегодня у нас очень новомодный, очень необычный, стильный рулет- МЕРЕНГОВЫЙ. Слышали о таком? Кто не слышал, тому поясню, что такое безе знаете? Высушенная белковая масса- меренга. Нежная меренга от воздействия легкого крема становится совсем нежной и воздушной. Дессерт съедается очень легко. И делать его очень просто. Ну, и несомненно, этот рулет украсит ваш новогодний стол, потому что выглядит по- королевски!!! Для него нам потребуется: 6 белков 250 гр сахара Щепотка соли 1 ч.л. лимонного сока Для крема: 300-400 мг сливок 35% 250 гр мягкого сыра 150 гр сахара 1) желтки отделяет от белков. Желтки нам не пригодятся. А белки солим солью и взбиваем. Когда масса уже стала воздушной, постепенно всыпаем сахар и лимонный сок и на максимальной скорости взбиваем до устойчивых пиков. Как проверить? Немного переворачиваем миску, если масса постепенно начинает стекать в эту сторону, то белки не готовы. Взбиваем еще. У меня ушло на это от 3 до 5 минут. Когда взбивать достаточно? Если переворачиваешь миску полностью верх дном, а белковая масса при этом стоит на месте и не переворачивается. 2) на противень выкладываем пергаментную бумагу, и на нее лопаткой распределяете белковую массу. Она не растекается, она принимает форму, которую вы ей придаете. Поэтому по пергаменту ее ровно распределите. Это будующий рулет. 3) в духовку при температуре 170°С примерно на 30 минут. У всех плиты разные, поэтому следите, у кого- то уйдет на это 30 минут, у кого- то 25, у кого- то 35. Рулет должен быть румяным и плотным сверху, трескаться при нажатии и мягким внутри.
