Did you know that I absolutely hate doing core? I would rather do extra cardio than core. Today I sucked it up and did a 2 minute plank with a 10lb weighted vest, sometimes I surprise myself with my own strength. Wow, where did that come from. This is the look on my face after demolishing back and bicep drop sets (2nd week. In a row), crushing cardio, and core. Thankfully my lashes still look good!

Today, our Registered Dietician at FitSpace has me step on the In-Body and she also ran me through our Resting Metabolic Test! WOW! I haven’t had these tests since college and my numbers literally blew me away (especially since I had an injury most doctors learn about in school and any patient should be immediately sent to the hospital for surgery); SWIPE to check’em out! • • My Resting Metabolic Rate is high high high! I burn 2016 calories per day COMPLETELY AT REST... all the thanks to the 72lbs of muscle I have worked hard as hell to gain all over my body! • • Comparing my metabolism to a person of similar sex, age, height and weight, my metabolic rate is very fast (almost off the chart). I honestly want to thank intermittent fasting for that one! • • So when my body is at a resting state, it uses fat as its main source of energy... 84.4% kcal from fat! My body responds really well to a higher fat diet. 🤤 • I love looking at the numbers and honestly am just so grateful for this last year! Although it has been a hard one... I have worked with it the best I can and feel like I am coming out on top! • •

Doing a standing roll up in the water. Very similar to doing the mat roll up people commonly do in a pilates class. What I like about this exercise in the water is that the water environment forces you not to cheat since you have to stay boyount enough as you perform the movement. I’m letting my body fall forward as I’m using my core only to return back to a standing position, while my toes are touching the floor. The entire time I’m trying to keep my spine straight without putting too much bend in it. It’s a gentle exercise with a strong burn! Great core exercise with a therapeutic feel!

A great way to test how well my fitness really is upon my physical core agility by trying out one whole monkey bar back and fourth adding a few leg raises along the way straight to muscle ups, because I haven’t done this in awhile I was alittle hesitant and literally freaked the shit out as I jumped & caught on the bar and surprisingly still managed to grab onto it thank God 😪 thought I was gonna fall but instead one of my wristbands did 😂. If you have any monkey bar set outs like this in your gym I definitely suggest ya give it a shot and if you fall plz don’t blame me, you’re still responsible for your own care hehe 😉 plus I did another 6 exercises just had to minimise what to show here for length.
