"Everything comes with a cost" this sums the DeadLifts perfectly. If you do them with incorrect form it can screw your body, but if do them correctly, your strength goals are never far 😊. My goal was to perform these to the weight equal to my body weight i.e. 90kgs(198 pounds), glad I achieved it😅. Next goal: to do it at 110kgs 💪🏻. Stay strong.

T-Bar rows are a great back builder that hits really hard on the lats, rhomboids, and traps. Doing them as a dropset with the help of a spotter is great to get some good volume in and get that major back pump.

Behind every primary exercise, are the secondary exercises which build the muscle foundation of every body ... accessories 😉😉 . Neutral grip lat pulldowns and single DB rows are 2 of my favourite back exercises. I like to alternate grips and movements regularly, adding in tempos, pauses and supersets to target various muscle groups in a specific way . Back in my body building days, I was OCD with hitting every muscle group possible, so I can get a little crazy with ensuring I get a good pump out of as much as possible 🤪😂 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Do your accessories kids! Rack pulls. This pull was a personal best at 545lbs for 8. I try and dead stop after each rep so there isn’t a bounce and I can concentrate on each pull. I see lots of guys pull above the knee, which I personally shake my head at. I understand above the knee can target the back and traps a lot more specifically for some (and maybe that’s truly what they want.) But I think they’re more of a power shrug. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I like to have more range of motion. Which to ME targets majority of my back. I’ve heard guys mention it feels like more of a hamstring burn then a back burn. But for myself if I engage my lats at each pull and concentrate on engaging power through each rep I honestly don’t feel any hammy work. There really isn’t any wrong or right way to do it. Too each there own. But if it’s harder, can target the back more if performed correctly why not? Give it a try. 👍🏼 ( I’m not knocking on the ppl who DO above the knee. This it’s just my two cents.)

Killer back workout! I had some PR with the weights 💪 Now I get to soak in an Epsom salt bath to see if I can prevent some predicted major soreness the next couple days. 🤪 BTW love the gym after 8p. Listen to podcasts. Talk to people who inspire you in different areas of life. Don’t sit and wait for some miraculous thing to swoop you off your feet. It never comes. ⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣
