Training hard in the gym isn’t always what I feel like doing when I’m exhausted from surfing, but choosing movements that are going to help balance out those muscles/tissues/joints overworked in the surf, strengthen my weaker areas and help maintain my mobility always help me feel better and pumped to get back out there. Here’s a little routine I did the other day, focusing on my shoulders and hips. This video has been sped up to fit into the constraints of 1 minute Instagram posts. Skin the cat with inverted hang and handstand finish. Bit of fun really. 3. Cable single leg RDLs. Glutes! 4. Cable glute kick backs. Again glutes! 5. They are going to mark down the days that they achieve this and turn into me. If completed they will enter into drawing. - I will be collecting raffle prizes for one winner each month this summer. Growth. It is only a phase of growth between you and your next step and only time before you reach your goals. Life will plateau you at times without you even realizing it. Stay focused, be patient & consistent and all of your hard work will one day pay off. Compare yourself by yourself and recognize how far you have come already. Whether you are taking your first step back into the gym or even your last, recognize where those doorways are taking you and separate your doubts and fears from the goals of who and where you want to be. Push forward. Through it all. Those walls you hit, or plateaus if you will, will no longer dictate the way you live your life, they will only inspire you to push harder past the last step. Utilize your potential, never sell yourself short, and eliminate the word can’t from your vocabulary. Very Impressed by One of my hard working client. She is Just 17 years old and First time I talked to her she was confused about working out and saiid she hates treadmill. After fixing her mobility as she had never worked out before and challenging her ROM with proper nutrition and Trainings we Hit her best Personal Best in Deadlifts. She is in Vancouver on Study Permit learning English and it was very tough in beginning to make her understand concepts but we both made it Through. Weight here is 155LBS and 3 Reps but I count it only as 2 cuz last rep was but loose. At this young age she has shown such great strength. Proud of her and wish her best for her life

As you probably know, it is not possible to "spot-treat" fat. What you may NOT know is that our bodies generally burn fat in the opposite order that it was added. For example, if your body most recently added fat in your upper arm, that fat will be the first to go. . So, what does this have to do with those "problem areas" like the hips, thighs, butt and stomach? Well, most men are genetically predisposed to FIRST add fat to their stomach and midsection, while women will first see increases in the hips and thighs. By no coincidence, these are the exact areas that most people will consider to be their problem area. However, if we know that fat is burned in the opposite order it was added, and we first add fat to the areas identified above, then naturally the fat in the stomach/hips/thighs/butt will be the LAST to go. . While this can be somewhat frustrating, it should also be reassuring. If you are seeing fat loss in other areas of your body (such as the extremities and face), rest assured you are doing the right thing. The body will eventually burn those problem areas if given adequate time. Although it would be nice to lose fat in your problem areas immediately, that is not always possible -- but now you know why! . . . . .

Ultimately the difference comes down to how you approach your nutrition and physical activity. Dieting is almost always temporary and can actually be detrimental to your workout if overly restrictive. How many diet plans specifically address providing energy for your workout?
